Greetings Parents and Families!

I am honored and humbled to join the Dexter team. I am excited to engage in the important work we will conduct continuously. Together, our scholars will continue to thrive under our instructional and enrichment programs, guidance, mentorship, and care.

At a glance, I have been in the educational field for 18 years. I look forward to supporting our scholars and providing a well-rounded education that includes positive relationships, relevance, rigor, and a safe and effective environment with our Dexter team. 

We have an exciting year ahead of us. First and foremost, I will be meeting with all stakeholders. The purpose of these informal meetings is for me to get to know you, and learn what you love about Dexter and the areas in which you think we can improve as a school community. I will also hold community meetings with our families and meet with our students. 

We must continue to focus on the well-being of our scholars, staff, and families. Another major focus is to continue to foster and support a love of learning, excitement, and creativity among our scholars. This will include continuously building high expectations and differentiated support by holding events and developing strategies that encourage our scholars to take pride in the Dexter community.  Through this journey, we will work together to continuously nurture a growth mindset for us and our scholars.
